polish makes perfect sagt dazu:
"After many questions and complaints on this polish, Lippmann posted a response on her blog.
She explains that Funky Chunky is meant to be worn as a sheer black with sporadic black sequins, with some nails having just a few or none while others have many.
I can get over the unevenness of the sequins but what I cannot get over is that the only way you could keep this black sheer is with one coat, and after one coat it is a streaky mess.
In theory, if Funky Chunky could be applied sheer, with a smooth finish, I think it would be really cool. I can see what she was going for after the first coat, however I cannot see anyone leaving their nails streaky like that (she’s calling it a “deconstructed” look).
The nails that ended up with no sequins finished to a rich, smooth black and seeing as the nails with few sequins aren’t that noticeably bumpy after several coats, I will probably just use this as a layering black because the quality is still up to Lippmann standards."
Man könnte den funky chunky mit klarlack solang verdünnen, dass er echt sheer wäre und dann gucken was dabei rauskäme ^^ aber ich glaub nicht dass es sich lohnt.
